1. PRISON BREAK

Yeah, yeah…I know…this show just hasn’t been as good since the 1st season. I’ve heard you & still don’t care. I’ll be there when season 4 starts up. However, I do miss Michael’s tattoo.

2. SCRUBS

If nothing else, it’s worth watching this show just to see the janitor & hear what bizarre & hilarious thing he’ll say next.

3. 24

Honestly, the last couple of seasons pissed me off & I wondered why I was still watching. Then, I remembered that I wasn’t obligated to keep tuning in. I swore that I was done with this show…then I found out that they were bringing Tony Almeida back, so…yeah…playing the Tony card to win back viewers wasn’t a bad idea.

4. MY NAME IS EARL

Sometimes I wonder if I should start my own list of bad things that I’ve done…then I think of how much work that would be & how it probably wouldn’t be as hilarious as this, so then I forget about it. I’m still a believer in karma, though.

5. BIG LOVE

Man…what a train wreck. The characters on this show are constantly pissing me off & disgusting me, but I just can’t look away. Who ever thought that Mormons & polygamy could be so fascinating?

6. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES

I had serious doubts about this show…then it came along & it kicked everyone’s ass. I loved the first 2 Terminator movies & am genuinely digging this show…in spite of the fact that this chick SUCKS as Sarah Connor.

7. 30 ROCK

Straight up hilarity…oh, & Tina Fey is a goddess.

8. SMALLVILLE

Young Clark Kent, pre-Superman & a young Lex Luthor is very cool shit. Cool enough that it doesn’t even matter that Tom Welling is a graduate of the Keanu Reeves school of acting.

9. HEROES

Who doesn’t like this show? Seriously. What? You don’t watch? Come on…get with it.

10. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

One of the best shows on TV right now. Not to mention that it’s refreshing to watch a show where there is no black & white, good & evil – only gray.

11. THE OFFICE

I have yet to watch an episode that doesn’t cause me to break out in silly laughter. I think that anyone who’s ever worked in an office setting can appreciate some of this type of humor & the caricatures of office employees.

12. DEXTER

As soon as the theme music starts & I see Dexter slaughtering his breakfast during the opening credits, I’m absolutely giddy. I don’t think that there has ever been a more endearing serial killer.

13. LOST

Yep…I’m one of those…one of those LOST geeks. It doesn’t take long for it to turn into an obsession. Just the first few episodes…that’s where it starts…the next thing you know, it’s surfing LOST websites & scanning the LOSTpedia looking for clues. At least it gives me something to do while I wait for next season, which feels like an eternity away.

  • Rasmenia,

If you have any time left over after your tight TV schedule, take a cyberride over to Liquid Illuzion for a blahgosphere encounter with a woman who rivals you honestly for hilarity. I’d love be the matchmaker for this summit–“Rasmenia Meets Liquid.” Let me know how the meeting goes!

    Amitiés,

  • i’m most deffinitely a Lost junkie but not so much a TV junkie anymore. for the last couple of years i’ve been watching my TV series online. for two reasons: i can choose the time and i can watch episodes in large chunks like five at a time. that is how i got introduced to Heroes last spring when i watched the whole season in a single weekend.

thanx for stopping by my water moods TT

  • I’m watching Terminator 2 right now! I wish we had the Sarah Connor Chronicles over here… I love Galactica.
Thanks for visiting my goddess sign TT!

  • I love Lost and Heroes. I really don’t watch any of the others. I like Jericho, but of course they cancelled it. Twice. I like CSI the original, Cold Case, and Dirty Jobs. Great TT. Have a good day.

You already know we differ on our comedy likes and dislikes, so none of the comedy stuff made my list (although if I ever flip past 30 Rock I can’t help but stop and watch). Other than that, I can’t come up with 13. I have 5. If only that meant I actually got off my ass and did something useful with those other 6 1/2 weekly hours of my life…well, maybe that would be something. Alas, I don’t. I did try watching Big Love on dvd, but I just got so grossed out I couldn’t stick with it, but I agree, train wreck.

    Here are my 5:

SUPERNATURAL – the all time greatest family drama/gore-fest ever created. Ever.

Terminator: SCC – I think you said it all, and Summer Glau is a fucking super hero.

Battlestar Galactica – who’s the final cylon??? WHOO???

Heroes – eh, it kinda started boring me late in the first season, but I’ve stuck to it anyhow.

The Big Bang Theory – how can anyone resist Johnny Galecki and Sara Gilbert reunited on the small screen? And the guy who plays Sheldon is hi-larious.

  • Gosh, you have so many shows that I love. I’m a huge fan of Lost, Prison Break, Dexter and I love love Battlestar Galactica. Fantastic Show. Great list. Happy TT and thanks for visiting.
